OCT Imaging

Optomap Retinal Imaging

The Optomap contains innovative wide-field lens technology that allows our doctors to evaluate the health of the retina without dilating the eyes!  Not only does that save you from the side effects of dilation, it also gives our doctors special features and tools to provide you with a more thorough health exam.  This machine can detect eye conditions such as retinal tears and detachments, diabetic retinopathy, floaters (vitreous detachment), and much more.

OptoVue OCT Imaging

OCT imaging is similar to an ultrasound and allows our doctors to see the layers of the retina below the surface.  In addition, the layers of the retina are about as thin as a human hair, which makes them very difficult to examine with the naked eye.  However, with the help of this advanced technology, our doctors have the tools to examine these intricate layers and detect the earliest signs of diseases such as Macular Degeneration, Glaucoma, and many others.  Early detection is extremely important, as these diseases often cause permanent vision loss.

Keratograph

The Keratograph

The Keratograph contains cutting-edge technology for managing dry eye disease and has top-of-the-line accuracy for designing custom contact lenses using it's corneal mapping feature.  Dry eye disease is extremely common and it can actually lead to permanent degeneration of the oil glands inside of the eye lids.  The tools within this machine allow our doctors to detect dry eyes at the earliest stage so they can treat it before it's too late. â€‹
